The South African National Roads Agency Ltd (SANRAL) was established in April 1998 by an Act of Parliament as an independent statutory company operating along commercial lines and at arm’s length from Government. The purpose of the company, which is registered in terms of the Companies Act is to finance, improve, manage and maintain the national road network of South Africa.
SANRAL's commitment to improving the roads is evident in the reconstruction of the R300 highway nad their road safety programme initiatives which are implemented in the communities and schools surrounding this highway. Read more
