GRSP ZA is privileged to have as a member, the QuadPara Association of South Africa (QASA). With road accidents being one of the main causes of disability in South Africa, QASA finds purpose in promoting road safety programmes in South Africa.
QASA was established in 1978. One of the organisations main objectives is develop the capacity of quadriplegics and paraplegics and provide projects and services to empower the membership. The prevention of spinal cord injury is also high on the agenda of QASA. The aim of QASA's intervention in the disability sector is to ensure that the disabled have easy and affordable access to equipment and devices that helps to develop their skills and independence. Ari Seirlis is the Director of QASA and represents GRSP ZA as a board member and director.
